A change for the better at last.

Hi friends, went to have another Cystoscope yesterday, the good news was that the doctor saw no new tumour. So recommended for me to start the BCG treatment, which will be done at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford. So hopefully I can tolerate it. As there is no alternative, for me as my heart is not up to radical removal of the bladder. Woke up sweaty and in AF last night, but it settled down pretty soon. Must have been the stress of the procedure. But at last it looks as if my luck is changing. I like to thank all of you for the kind support you send me over the past three month, it certainly was a dark time for me. I admit it has left me very depressed, but will have to pick myself up and get on with it. I do miss having my husband around, even if he only could give me little support. It was someone to listen, if you understand what I mean. It is hard but I will have to leave him in the care home, realistically he is better of there than here with me. You might like to know I am getting quite nifty around the house, me and my wagon! Going to bed for the night is a whole new ball game 😃 chocolate drink, water a snack, bin with the bottle of gin. ( joke) saves me 5 trips. Anyway before I boor you all to death I wish you all the best of health. Love from Rienij 💕💕

So very glad things are looking up. They found two tumours in my sister in law’s bladder Thursday. Already had 3 cancerous polyps removed. xx

That's good news,and spring is here at last too! After going through such a lot it's unsurprising that you are a little low ,but I'm sure you will feel better all round soon. It is a big change to be parted now but at least he is safe ? Best wishes to you xx
