Pacemaker at last !!!

Hello all you AFibbers out there that have been advising and supporting me over the past months.

Just to let you all know that second attempt at putting in pacemaker was successful today.

It’s been a tough few days since my husband collapsed in AandE on Tuesday night before his pacemaker procedure which was due on Wednesday. Unfortunately that was aborted due to vein problems put now it’s in other side and up and running. I’m having a glass of wine tonight !! It’s been tough. Thanks again for your advise and support.

Hi netie54, I'm so glad that it's all gone well for your husband. After your anxious run up to the procedure, I bet you could drink the whole bottle and sleep for a week! Well done to both of you for getting through it, now just relax, rest and repair! Best wishes to you both. Sharon

Good news as others have said let’s hope this will now reduce your stress levels and maybe you can fix up that holiday once all has settled down.
