Ablation for goddaughter at last.

Some of you may remember my god daughter has been awaiting ablation for SVT since she was 3 years old.

She has been on Flecanide 200mg a day since then and has had 5 cardioversions.

Always planned for when she was 12 and correct weight. At last it came around last month,but was cancelled at 2pm due to an emergency. Then surgeon called mum at 4pm to say the booking team had made a mistake and he would delegate to his team and do hers.

Phew.

Nope on the day,no aneasthetist available. Emergency went to London.

So.....its on again this Thursday. Fingers,knees and elbows crossed.

I thought Id share this story as when I felt low and scared( often) I kicked myself up the butt and thought about her,coping brilliantly. To get arrythmia at that age...

She just got on with it,plays netball,cricket etc.

I cant imagine having to cope with AF at that age.

Thank you I will definetly do that. Im fine thsnks even though had an argument with a wasp on Saturday and got stung four times in one spot! Excellent. Arm swollen up,red angry and hot from wrist to elbow. How nice.

I got it checked out and its ok. Took stuff and put stuff on them. So beware psycho wasps Ducky! Any further news? Xx

Our poor 4-year old also had an argument with a wasp last week, which flew into his shirt at school, stinging him four times.
