Getting flutters on and off each day, none longer than 15 seconds. At night if lying on left side, heart rhythm waking me up, once I move it stops. This happening 1 or 2 time’s a night. Felt dizzy on the way back from a short walk yesterday and still my overall stamina is not back up to pre ablation.
Is this all just part of recovery? Just wondered if others have found the above the norm.

Probably nothing to worry about Purple but would be worth keeping an eye on your blood pressure. If you had a general anaesthetic, things can also take longer to settle. It's also not unusual for your heart rate to be a lot higher after an ablation so try not to worry. I assume your review will be coming up soon, so make a note of these issues so that you can discuss them then. It's also common to hear your heartbeat when lying on your left.
You make no mention of runs of AF which can also happen, so it sounds as if you are doing OK......
It took 5 months for my various bumps and arrhythmias to settle and almost a year before heart rate reduced to normal. I then felt much better. That was 4 years ago and still in NSR.
Try to be patient and hopefully will improve, especially if you are not having AF episodes.
This has really encouraged me - no one told me it might take some time. I am fine at present but still on Flecanide. Have just started to reduce the dose so won't worry if I get the odd flutter.
Had mine in August and am having the same symptoms. Flutterings, ectopics most days in very short bursts and if I really push myself can sometimes feel really odd dizzy etc., but can say that these symptoms are getting better all the time and no AF. See my EP next week so will be interesting to see what he thinks.
My ablation was early September, went to see my EP yesterday, now off ACE inhibitors and calcium channel blockers, so really happy! Some ectopics plus on 6 hr AF episode, but feeling better every day. Stamina is still down a bit, but feeling happier minute by minute!
I speak from experience having had 3 ablations, it takes time for the heart to heal, be patient and be assured you will improve greatly over the next 6 months
