hi i had an ablation 4 weeks ago for svt since then i have same feeling of heart going into one again hot cold sweats rapid heart beat since ive been ablated i also get af at night worse if i lay on my left side does any one else exerience this thankyou

The left hand side is often a troublesome side for many an AF sufferer so you're not on your own there!

thank you for replying trouble is i automatically fall asleep and end up on my left side sometimes that makes my heart race

Quite common if you read our fact sheet on recovery form ablation. Very early days yet as it takes three to six months for the heart to recover.

Are you on Rx? I slept up to 18 hrs daily after ablation for SVT but the symptoms you describe are what I experienced before ablation....when blood was looping around in heart. Doesn't hurt to call EP to see if Rx needed while healing. All the best. P.S. sleep on my left side too. Occasionally will doze off on back.

Rx means prescription or colloquially treatment.

A non computerised prescription might say Rx Ampicillin caps. 250 mgs t.i.d. This would be an instruction for the pharmacist to dispense Ampicillin 250 mg capsules for the patient to take one, three times a day.

no only propranalol 60 ml daily was on fleconide 150 mill but stopped when got ablation
