Well one week today since my ablation, dont feel too bad sore throat getting

better my gullet is also quite sore and swallowing is sometimes a problem

even when Ive not eaten ir drunk anything but Im sure its just a matter of

time, my cough is also much better. But my heart is perfect and the only

thing Ive felt is a little breathless after doing very light household jobs

ie emptying dishwasher, putting washing in washer and making myself

dish of porridge, all done at slow pace. Sat down felt kn....... I think this

is perfectly normal. I think Ive been very lucky and cannot wait to get

up and at it again. Regards to all, Shirley.

So pleased it is going well Shirly. It always takes much longer than we expect to get back to "normal" whatever that is these days. Sounds like you are doing fine to me. Now don't go doing the ironing mind!

All the best

Bob

Excellent news. Bit by bit you should gather strength.

Shirley, you will need to pace yourself. It takes months to regain your get-up-and-go. Three months post-ablation I still have bouts of fatigue. 45 minutes gardening has to be followed by a 10 minute sit-down. It really is great news that you're making steady progress.

Best wishes.

Thanks for the replies, wont do anything silly, started looking at shopping

on line as a way of passing the time but dont worry havent got my card

out yet. Also my throat is most sore down the left and the last couple of

days my inner ear is giving me problems, I was aware of it during the

night. I have decided to leave it to see how it goes, what do you think is

this to be expected. Also when is it safe to fly or are there no problems

about that. S.
