You could perhaps contact one of your cardio nurses if you are worried.
It was over 6 months before my ablation appeared to have been at least partially successful. Upto then I was all over the place with ectopics, afib and a heart rate that was 10 beats faster than previously. It then all calmed down and after about a year I was able to reduce my Flecainide to one 50mg dose at bed time. I rarely get afib now and it tends to be if I don't take my Flecainide and if I overdo the social drinking. So it might be too early to tell and hopefully things will settle down but if you're worried contact your cardio team.
I've not had AF for 7 years, but still feel missed beats , and have palpitations on occasion.
I have managed to track mine down to starting with a virus, I get bigeminy or trigeminy 2 or 3 days before a virus hits full force. It's like an early warning system.
I think that us AFers that feel every little missed beat, ectopic etc will do so for life
I don’t know what the others will say but we can take all the meds and everything else. We are still going to a fib time to time. I have a normal to be able to fill my flutter. There is no cure for it. The difference is with the it’s no longer damaging because the pacemaker the work unless it was really crazy. I wouldn’t get nervous. Plus you just had yours done. You have to heal anyway it could take a couple of months. It takes quite a while for most of us to heal with my pacemaker. It was almost a year. That does not mean you’re going to be an all kinds of pain or anything. It just means you’re going to have to take it easy, especially if it’s a pacemaker because it has to heal where the leads are. Patience is going to have to be your best friend. Good luck with the ablation. I hope it does well for you.
still early days yet mate. Iv had 3 ablations and recovered ok from 1st and 3rd but 2nd ablation recovery and my H/R was all over for months.
