have awful cough and cold which has resulted in a chest infection, I am on steroids and antibiotics, I am really wheezy and breathless on exertion ,will the fact I have AF and flutter make this worse? I take flecainide 50mg twice daily and bisoprolol 2.5 daily.

thanks

They do affect in both directions but you are on good treatment- I hope you feel better soon I had a course of antibiotics before Christmas- took about 3 weeks to recover in total.

Take care

Please take your medication for the flu/chest virus for it can impact your heart issues. I had the flu before Christmas and the doctors said that it caused my AICD to discharge multiple times due to the flu virus wreaking havoc with my system.

I feel like I'm in another body.

Forgive me. Thus virus is not pleasant.

Chest hurts. I'm wheezing coughing. In and out of AF. Great!

No help from drs.

Ah well get on with it. Xx

Hi sweetie I have had this awful virus 2 weeks come Monday. I am still having trouble breathing and a sore chest. Gp says my chest sounds clear but I don’t understand why I am still not breathing properly. You are on a good course of medication so that should help you get better. Take care and keep warm. Love and hugs 🤗🤗🤗🌹🌹🌹xxx
