I always had trouble with mine and think maybe fingers are too dry. Try moisten them and see if it still does it.

It is working now have gone into AF like I thought so it is picking up that reading. Really feed up it is under a week I was in AF for 44 hours getting so much closer the episodes and lasting double the amount of time. Ablation booked in 9th October just worried I will stay in AF now and then success rate is much lower if permanently in AF.

Don't worry about being in AF before the procedure Robert. It isn't permanent until it can not be cardioverted. Plenty of time yet although I'm sure you know that AF is almost always progressive. Your ablation is none too soon! Be positive as it does make a huge difference to outcomes.

What is your pulse rate? I think it doesn't give a result if rate is below 60bpm which may be why you are not getting result??

My resting heartbeat is 56 and records fine. Heather

Mine won't record if under 60 but has recorded others when in AF and mine when over 60 or in AF

Good luck with your ablation Robert, take care

Mine always returns an unclassified result if my heart rate is below 50.
