PSA rising

I was diagnosed with PC 2010 3-4 Gleason PSA 7.4! Cyberknife treatment early 2011! PSA after 3 years down to 0.068! Started slowly rising 2019 PSA 14! Had PSMA scan cancer speed to local lymph nodes! Went on ADT and had radiation. After 3 months PSA dropped to 0.06! I very much disliked the hormones! Stopped ADT after 2 years! PSA stayed at 0.06 for another year. 6 months later 0.08 then to 0.7 and now 1.62! Docter wants me to have a scan and go back on hormones! I am planning on a vegan diet and taking white mushroom extract for 6 months to see if I can effect cancer growth! Thoughts!!!!

what your Dr recommends seems to be usual. I am due for a scan in April. I also find - and have found for years - a mix of Western and Alternative medicine is usually a good thing

I recommend you watch the Netflix dramatized documentary called "Apple Cider Vinegar."!!!!

Maybe you can consider triple therapy? Consult it with your MO

Dx in 2015 psa 2000+ . Firmagon , Docetaxel, Xtandi and last year Cabazitaxel. Followed doctors orders everytime , no alternative therapies. Just enjoy life, travel a lot . Made it so far !

Go back to adt hormone therapy. Ask Orgovyx.It is oral so easy to take one pill/day.And ask opinion(oncologist) for triplet therapy:Adt+Docetaxel(chemo) +Darolutamide(Nubeqa).

Mushrooms and diet wont stop your cancer to grow and making metastases.

Why not try it for a half a year instead?
