PLEASE HELP!! Been dealing with my diagnosis for 9 months. Had 2 mets on the spine, and some regional lymph node involvement at diagnosis, with PSA of 28.366. Started chemo April 4 and after 6 months of chemo, PSA was 0.042. Had a bone scan and CT which showed all mets were undetectable. Then Nov 6 (a month later) PSA went up to 0.06.
Is this a little bump in the road, or something to worry about? Is this normal???

I think that "so far, so good." Your MPCa would be considered to be "progressing" if you head towards 1.0 (some MOs will trigger the next step at 2.0). Watch the trajectory and velocity of your PSA. I agree with the above comments...looking at two decimal points can be misleading.
Hang in there. This all sounds like great news. Next step may be abiraterone + steroid.
I guess since this is my first time dealing with this (obviously) I’m just not sure what is Ok. My concern is, this is the first time I’ve had my PSA rise, and I was wondering if this is normal (such a low rise from 0.042 to 0.067). Or is this statistically the same? And will it maybe go back down.
