Looking for a medical oncologist there who exclusively deals with genitourinary cancers. Any thoughts.

Thanks Tall Allen. I also have a recommendation for Geynisman. Have you heard of him?
Nope.
My husband has seen Geynisman for almost 8 years since diagnosis. We've really like him. We've liked all our docs and PAs as Fox Chase. We've found Geynisman very approachable and he takes as much time as we need at appointments. He also listens to my questions about things I hear on this site and indulges me- even so far as to tell me more insight into studies etc.
We did get consults at PENN and Jefferson as well- and found that they all confer and we know our docs at foxchase do talk amongst others at Foxchase and all area (Philly/NY/JohnsHop) PCa docs- referring to trials and others if necessary. We chose foxchase for ease of getting to and my husband liked Geynisman over of the two at Penn and Jeff.
Dr. Plimack is the MO on my partner's team, and we're both very grateful for her care. Not only is Dr. Plimack a leader in the field of genitourinary cancers, she is conscientious about taking the time to listen and to thoroughly explain treatment options. We are delighted that someone as busy and in demand as Dr. Plimack is so exceptionally warm and caring.
Geynisman has a lot of experience and a very good reputation. I do not know him personally.
He's my husband's oncologist. We've really liked him.
Does your husband see him as relates to prostate cancer? Is the doctor generous with his time or do you feel rushed? Appreciate your insights as Geynisman was recommended by someone i know
Yes- my husband was diagnosed Aug of 2017 with metastatic to bones. You can see details in my profile. And, yes, absolutely. He never rushes us. Always answers all our questions. And his PA, Victoria Wong is equally as fantastic. My husband has felt very taken care of and heard.
Yes, I weigh short commutes very heavily, maybe too much so. But very important for stress and aggravation levels!
I know two men who see Dr. Geynisman and they are very happy with him.
