I have 6 years experience with Sumit Subudhi. He's fantastic! Also had about 4+ years with Phase1 MedOnc Physician, Dr. Aung Naing(sounds like the number 9). Went through 6 phase 1's with his oversight.

Your thoughts on TULSA-PRO for Gleason 3 +4 = 7 or 4 + 3 =7 single lesion ?

Paul Corn: faculty.mdanderson.org/prof...

First thing he did was briefly introduce himself. Next thing he did was scoot his chair over near mine (it was Covid times) and ask me about me. Why are you here? What's your story? And he listened. Amazing.

Very bright guy too.

Paul Corn is the doctor I chose and am super pleased with. He likes lots of data to monitor during treatment (at least with my IMPT) and checked about 50 different blood tests throughout my treatment. We currently are just checking psa and testosterone and have a telephone conversation every 3 months. He is up to date on research, trials, and has colleagues both in and outside of MDACC. When I occasionally mention things I read here on this forum, he is interested enough to ask for links. I have full confidence in his advice.

Typically, within 1 day of my telephone appointment with him, he has already booked the next appointment and issued the lab orders.

Keep in mind that he is also a PhD professor, involved in research, and is a busy man. Unless it has changed he is in clinic only 1 day per week for in-person appointments (which is true of many of the doctors there).

He is currently one of my two MOs. Has he ever proposed a non-SOC treatment for you?

No, not other than suggesting I investigate a particular trial. I have mentioned a few things in the past and he always prefaces any non SOC treatment by stating what the MDACC standard is. MDACC used to have a publicly accessible prostate cancer algorithm, but I think the wider array of treatment options, clinical trials, etc. now would make that document difficult to keep current.

Dr. Armando Zurita saved my life. He has been treating me since 2010 and I was stage 4, with Mets all over my body!
