So Oxford Vax Medic have a press release today that they have secured funding to move forward in thie development of this vaccine.

I was the last volunteer ( no 12) so got the highest dose with no side effects but also no feedback on if I had an immune response.

interesting to read in todays press release

‘Phase 1a dose escalation study indicated good safety and a strong immune response.’

they trialled on ovarian cancer, NSC LC and PCa and I fully expected them to drop PCa due to no immune response but all three cancers continuing to be investigated it seems!

interesting times.

Thank you. One of those you don’t expect to work being such an early trial but would be annoyed if I was nearing end game and found out it had indeed worked and I’d turned down the opportunity.

Both my MOs agreed it wouldn’t make me any worse and was a low risk trial. Indeed I had no side effects so most annoying thing was quality of the sandwich’s provided whilst waiting to consult with trial dr!

I agree that all men should on drug trials if they can as this is the fastest way to move forward in terms of finding a cure or some treatment option that lasts longer and has less side effects than current options.

It is also very important for everyone to update all of us in any results etc as we are the voice of the people!!!

Stay well boys and LIVE LARGE
