I am considering getting down to MD Anderson for a consultation on my MCRPC. Does anyone have a recommendation for the best prostate cancer guy there?

A couple people have mentioned him. I may end up going with him rather than the dr Subudhi that I sent an email to today. Of course,as always, it will come down to insurance and finances

Stay away from the doctor whose last name starts with "E".

Can't say more because I'm concerned about liability. There should be many good Docs to choose from at MDA. Be advised it's a very large overwhelming place especially if you need several tests as I did you have to navigate to several different buildings on the campus. They have a good shuttle system just be prepared to spend several days in Houston. Avoid the summer if possible, it's hot!

Thanks for the heads up. I'm still trying to figure out if I can even afford to go. My insurance identifies them as the dreaded "out of network "

I have been seeing Dr. Armando Zerita. He has kept me alive for eight years with stage 4 mcrpc.
