A friend of mine just told me that he has been told that he has a tumour in his lymph node in his groin - discovered in a CT scan. His Mo has told him nothing except that they will operate to remove it next week. He doesnt even know his PSA number.

Im thinking this smells like a health centre that doesnt know much about PCa. I have advised him to find what his PSA number is, push for a biopsy before surgery, and agitate to get on triplet therapy asap. He also has back pain. To me this smells of PCa - but wouldnt they have seen a tumour on the prostate??

I know its not much to go on but I will push him to get more facts - fast.

What do y,all think??

Enlarged inguinal lymph nodes are rare in newly-detected prostate cancer. Prostate cancer usually affects pelvic lymph nodes first.
