I had 6 sessions of radio therapy 18 months ago, at the beginning I was sweating day and night, but eased of for a while, but these last few weeks the night sweats have become unbearable, mostly my head and face, pillows are soaked!I wonder is it low testosterone? Being overweight? As I've put weight on since I had the therapy! Also I have I suffer with acid reflux, maybe all combined, I really don't know?
Any thoughts guys?

Often taking ADT is causing those sweating episodes but there is no mention of ADT in your profile. It is possible that your thyroid does that too. I use Norwegian Kelp that I purchase from Amazon. Not only did it get rid of my night sweats and hot flushes but it also worked for my wife and for my sister, both in their menopause. It didn't take long to feel its benefits, probably about 4 days. Now that it is under control, I only take some every other day or so.
I’m having similar symptoms, but am on doublet therapy after my EBRT. My sweats have become more frequent and drenching. I’ve got a list of things to bring up with my MO, with sweats just being one of them.
Exercise + venlafaxine works well enough for me, A new drug is said to work even better -- Veozah. But like TA said -- probably best to start with an endocrinologist. Not easy get one accepting new patients here in the US though. For PCa patients, its not the ADT drugs but rather the very low testosterone that makes for hot flashing.
It's a common side effect. More severe in some than others, but usually due to ADT therapy. I have severe ones. MDs often prescribe a medication for it, but for me the side effects might be worse than the sweating. My naturopath recommends Hawthorne to reduce the severity and frequency. I use ice packs and my wife got me an ice vest and cooling pads for the bed and pillow. I got a battery operated fan I always keep with me and I use ice packs, especially on my head and neck, The smae mechanism for women going through menopause: hormone deprivation.
Thanks for your suggestion, funny thing I tried these gel pads last night around my neck, it did work, bit of a stiff neck, but better than having wet pillows, I am on Ashwagandha, 2nd tablet, I purchased these months ago but they gave me diaroea, so hoping it doesn't happen again?
Best of luck! Yes, controlling diarrhea is important. I had it during radiation and it was physically and mentally draining, Obviously, your body is not liking the ashwaganda. Look into modified citrus pectin to treat the cancer itself. I was able to take down my PSA from 29 to 19 just with supplements, diet and weight loss before I began any treatments.
