My husband: After 7 years of treatments, we are now to chemo: Docetaxel.

After 2nd infusion PSA went from 47 to 32.

Is this a Good, normal, average, AWESOME 🙏🏻 response?

He has the CDK12 mutation. 😩

Thanks for any comments!

Yes it is good response. It will slowly decline and even after completing treatment chemo dosage. PSA will continue decline

Does your husband take Nubeqa or xtandi ?

He has taken Nubeqa and PSA continued to climb. However, he is still having monthly Lupron injections in conjunction with the Chemo.

I think doctor should do triplet therapy like Nubeqa, Lupron + Chemo.

that is a good response. My hubby’s PSA rose to 235 after 4 rounds of pluvicto. Now on Jevtana chemo. His last PSA was 59, labs are due this week before round 6. He had chemo twice before (2018 and 2022). They ordered a years worth of Jevtana this time😬

yes, he got a positive response from the chemo. However, as your MO would probably continue on this treatment for a while, chemotherapy is harsh on his body and destroys his good cells and cancer cells.

You should monitor his side effects as a result of chemo.
