Olaparib time to lower PSA

Hello all,

Anyone know how long it take for Olaparib ro lower PSA? All I can find is that it takes 90 days to start working.

worked for me in 6 weeks. Knocked down PSA from 1.7 to 0.14. My MO was part of Lynparza development team. He told me it is a fast acting drug

Thanks Mrscruffy, I've been on it 3 weeks and PSA has gone from 48 to 198. Good thing I'm talking to my Onc today...

Good luck, hope he had good info for you. BTW what doe are you on. MO lowered my dose to 450 a day down from 600

Yes, PIC3 or something like that. ONC said it should work even though its not BRCA.

I talk to Onc in about an hour. Taking 600mg per day.

600 mg gave anemia and MO worried about bone marrow thus the dose reduction. Going to push for 300 mg next month
