has anyone had this? Is this the most successful treatment or has it gone with the many others.

immunotherapy with dendritic cells
Provenge is the only immunotherapy approved in the US. APCEDEN is approved in India.
What's difference between two ?
Apceden incubates dendritic cells with tumor tissue.
Provenge worked for me - I had 6 years of remission after Provenge and continuing ADT for 1 year. With MedOnc approval, stopped all meds at that point for 'ADT holiday', lasted 6 years!
May I asked your Gleason score at diagnosis? Any Germline or Genomic mutations? Any other health issues as I read Provenge worked darn well for you
PSA 52, Gleason 7 (4+3) at diagnosis. no mutations noted. Lupron and radiation, then spot radiation when metastatic recurrence in vertebra. Once PSA dropped to undetectable again, MedOnc recommended Provenge - he said it worked best for those with lower PSA, and mine would never get lower than this! It bought me 6 years ADT holiday. When vertebral recurrence, surgery to remove tumor in one, but then found two others that could not be removed. ADT & Pluvicto treatment last year, last dose in September 2023. Off ADT as of Jan 1st, monitoring PSA to see how well it worked, psa now at 0.010.
I've done it twice. Both cost $16k each. Tijuana and Houston. Seemed to keep my PSA below 1.0 for a year each. 3 months ago located 2 affected lymph nodes with PSMA scan largest 0.6 centimeters. Finished 4 of 5 radiation treatments today. Plucking the one in prostate bed out June 6th. Not expecting cure just a massive reset of PSA.
