Eligard and bicalutamide.

Started eligard and bicalutamide post RP in 2018. Followed advice of urologist until 2022. New urologist took me off both after PSA of 0.01. Unfortunately, l did not receive advice about secondary effects of the above drugs-osteoporosis etc. A DEXA scan in 2022 revealed high possibility of bone fractures; 2023, fell from a height of 3ft and broke the femur. Now on Prolia, vitamin d3, k2, and calcium. Anxious to begin sustained exercise, essential for osteoporosis, though still recovering from breakage. 2022 to 2024 PSA remains at 0.01. Good luck.

Are you receiving Zometa infusions?

I'm receiving nothing. Just had bicalutimide and eligard for 4yrs. My testosterone is low, l still have high alkaline phosphatase levels but that could be because of the fracture and osteoporosis. I suppose if the testosterone climbs so will the PSA. I keep my fingers crossed every PSA test.
