I have knee pain from 3 surgeries following a motorcycle accident over 30 years ago. My meniscus was ripped, so they shaved it down. Its now almost bone on bone.

This works really well (In my case)

I live for the 750Mg version.

However the deeper the pain the less effective.

hi docker53 …. Both my knees are very misshapen and painful from cancer Mets. I’ve tried around 14 highly regarded CBD pain products and have found them as useless as water. I do have both norco and hydromorphone which definitely kills the pain. My left knee is 3X larger than normal and my right knee is 2X … both are “ very “ painful at times.

If you are inclined towards the hemp / marijuana products ( like cbd ) then , in my personal experience ( and my wife’s experience, she has powerful pain in her lower lumbar ) a number of the hemp derived Delta products are powerful pain relievers for both of us. Hemp delta products , like their marijuana relitaves …often come with being stoned while the pain is managed. Hemp derived Delta products are legal federally and in most states , without regulation. They are bought in CBD stores OTC, a few CVS drug stores regionally or usually or very easily / quickly bought through the web/mail. A few members here use the hemp derived delta products. Deltas that are effective for myself and my wife are : HHC. Delta 8, delta8-delta9-thcV product, and delta8-thcP . For us, all of those are effective for pain management but you do get stoned. With Delta8 , for us, the mood elevation is intense and “ too much “ laughter can actually become a problem. Sounds weird but that’s how it works for us.

❤️❤️❤️

Btw: there are literally many dozens of products , all called CBDs …. All supposedly quite different… you may have to try a few to be sure if one works for you.

in reply toKaliber

After Hydromorphone, I wouldn't expect CBD to work at all.

lol …… Everyone is different, CBDs ( imho ) probably aren’t going to hurt you. Try away and if you are happy with them , then ever so much better. Just try to get CBDs that “ claim “ they are for pain and not smoother skin, or to stop hair from falling out. That you are happy with its efficacy , that’s all that really matters.

Still , like with Motrin and Tylenol , any 18 year old ( many states zero age restrictions) can walk into any drug store and buy CBD oils OTC without question ….. this might suggest that one should temper your expectations.

Just say’in

Thank you for your response. I found it informative as well as a bit of humor. Thank you, I know most of us on here need some humor in our lives.

My husband has used CBDistillery .com for pain and sleep issues. 5mg THC and 25 mg CBD. He can’t take Motrin or Aleve or Ibuprofen so this definitely helps.

I p/u some hemp cream off Amazon a while back, It has a strong amt of peppermint . I must say it works for my (moderate) pain on my rt belt line side of lower back/ upper hip, but mine is muscle I over do it and pop goes the muscle. Cbd cream may be stronger but if it has other ingredients like peppermint those could be relieving the pain as well. Peppermint is known for relief of stomach pain. I read cancer does not do well in temps above 113 f . maybe a good old hot water bottle or heat pad and peppermint or castor oil may help . Cold weather always brings out the cronic pain. Hot baths or showers may help . Topical DMSO cream and taking Pecta Sol (mcp ) helps me, I also take UltraCur brand curcumin. No not all curc is the same.

You may want to try Narayan Soothing Touch Original strength sore muscle gel. It works great for most pain because it has clove and eucalyptus oils in an ointment. Clove is like a natural anesthetic. I used it for pain for my hip arthritis and it works great almost immediately. Get the original strength because the extra strength has menthol in it and it may be irritating. I think they are making it now in a tube as a gel, although you may be able to find the old round tin balm online. It’s the one with the brown label

Thank goodness this is ONE problem my husband doesn't have but I have bone on bone pain in knees. I get cortisone shots 2x yr. but doc said you can get 3-4x. I tried Euflexxa but it doesn't work as well for me but that's also an option to explore. No CBD worked either....but I've heard medical marijuana does. I've never smoked.

Consider trying the new , hemp derived, Delta8 et al products instead of smoking marijuana. It’s hemp derived ( marijuana in a different species) and the same as marijuana but just the helpful alkaloids. These are gummies and avoid the pitfalls of smoking and combustion products on your lungs. Unlike marijuana ( which is illegal federally, and in half of the states. ) , hemp derived products are legal federally and in most states. ( check your local regulations ) .

Disclaimer: always run this past your medical support team. Check your local laws, and … this is IMHO and nothing more.

I've tried putting hemp seeds on salad, oatmeal, etc. but that never helped anything either. Medical mj is legal here in IL but I'm not interested in that....I might look into the gummies, tho, and see how they work. My grandsons tell me kratom is worth a look too but I know next to nothing about that.

Btw: lol hemp seeds might be a good source of fiber for regularity, but they contain no desirable akaloids.

Hard to say if hemp delta gummies will work for everyone / anyone. I’ve never heard of someone that ate them say nothing happened. A few thought it was too intense and wished in retrospect that they tried half or a quarter first. A few of my hardcore “ Berkeley heads “ friends ( my home of record ) eat several at a time, mixing and matching them. Personally in my own experience with them, one is probably enough for a pleasant experience. The hammer is the gummy expert here. She has “ extreme “ lower back pain at times and of course Kaiser won’t help her anymore since opiates have become verboten. They used to hand them out to her 120 a month. Anyway, she swears by several gummies for excellent relief of her back pain …. except you get very stoned the way she goes about it. I’ve tried them too and they worked excellent for me. I kinda avoid them mostly..… I have actual opiates that help me very well, and the dang gummies …like marijuana, make me hungry as hell busting my diabetes diet. Yayahahahaya yayahahahaya. This is the best modeling clay I’ve ever eaten kind of hungry yayayaya.

The distinction between hemp derived delta thc gummies and marijuana is …. First hemp gummies are federally legal and legal in most states …. and unlike marijuana ( which has over 100 akaloids) delta 8 ( and all of those ) each select one of the “ active “ akaloids from marijuana that are the ones that do stuff like pain management, or laughter factories , or Xanax like effects. Plus they are filled with cannabis turpines that are delicious and make the event much more pleasant.

I’m watching Svengoolie and “ House on haunted hill “ right now and I can say that , imho - for me , gummies and Svengoolie are VERY complimentary. Yayaya yayay yay yayayay.

I have used canibis responsibly my entire life.I have metastasized prostate cancer for 5 years.

I've experienced much pain in my 73 years.

Sadly, I never experienced pain relief by using canibis (THC/CBD). I smoke it simpley to get high. Anyone in pain (due to cancer) should have access to opiate based pain relievers. Ask your doctor(S)

Best luck.

If you can't cope..... Marijuana Bloke says no joke, but there may be hope in some dope down your throat.

So why do they call you Marijuana Bloke?. Cause I'm a little dope that comes from a white Poppy.

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

Here’s the cream me and a couple friends use with amazing results It is cannabis based and you have to get it from a dispensary. I have a medical marijuana card here in Oklahoma. I have a bone on bone knee joint also and this takes my pain away. I don’t get a buzz at all.

Thank you very much for your reply. I did purchase a product from Cannabis store near us. It's legal here, we were never into it so this was our first time going into one of these stores. Since it's now legali, the stores are everywhere and growing. Guess there is a real need out there and if helps relief pain then we are all for it. We will inquire about the product you recommend next time we are there. Thanks again, much appreciated.
