PSA & T is up

We started this journey in June 2022 and hit this PC with triple therapy to stop the cancer that had already attacked his whole skeleton.

My husband has now developed a cancerous tumor in his head in the sinus cavity and behind his eye which has caused him double vision and pain. It’s wrapped around his carotid arteries. He is currently doing 10 rounds of radiation and will then have a PET Scan to see if cancer has spread anywhere else. Said they may try a different chemo. Doctor also wondered if the Lupron just isn’t working and we should switch back to Firmagon.

His oncologist told us that he may be eligible for Pluvicto but in his experience it stops working once you are done finished with the treatments. He suggested we find a trial at Sloan Kettering in NYC and reminded us that my husbands PC is very aggressive. He had always told us he had a plan b and a plan c and not to worry. Any suggestions or advice?

Were any oral meds added like abiraterone, enzalutamide, etc? Is his PC castration resistant? I’d take the referral to Sloan or other options are Dana Farber, Mass General,

his oral med is Darolutimide and he recently switched to Lupron instead of Firmagon.

We are waiting for T results to come back to see if he is castrate resistant or not.

Thanks for responding!! ❤️

His T is at 1 and yes, he is castrate resistant now. Have a Pet Scan 11/29 and then if eligible trying Pluvicto.

I am just wondering if pluvicto is crossing the blood brain barrier? Otherwise maybe PARP inhibitors or cabazitaxel would be helpful? Could you ask for Guardant 369 liquid biopsy if his PSA is above 5?

We have a virtual call with the MO AT 10:15.

My husband just got out of the hospital. Blood clots in the brain. Found out it’s also spread to the Meninges (layers between skull and brain).
