Have been on Lupron for 7 months and now oncologist had added Erleada which I have taken for the past 12 days, with the addition of this meds my legs have become incredibly weak...is this normal?

Lupron + Erleada, Extremely weak legs?
I call it " heavy leg syndrome" have been on that combo 5.5 years.....trouble vlimbing stairs...and cannot stand up from being on floor without using someting to pull my self up.....its the side effect i guess ...of near zero t' but im beating the reaper.....we can discuss more if ypu like...i have ben in titan trial since 2017
Sadly, it mimics my experience. Working on my bikes, I can't get up without getting into a crab like position for leverage and stairs are a difficulty, so to help with the bikes, I bought a air stand to elevate the bikes! I have had arthriris in both knees thanks to a lifetime of goalkeeping in football, so that prevents me from stress exercise, but I still walk 5-6 kms a day and continue to work full time and its a small/big price to pay for undetectable PSA and T.
My father has alot of weakness in the legs and he found moving about more to help and he bought a leg exerciser for when he sits in the chair he uses that, he's 90. He is now on Lupron and Xtandi and going on year 8 stage 4 . Seems to be doing well on that . Good luck!
Before Erleada failed (6 mon), for a week my legs became heavy but I didn't notice that I was becoming constipated. My Dietitian wife put me on twice a day yogurt & as soon as the constipation resolved, the pain went away! Don't think it was coincidental and just an early SE?
Lefty26, I was on both for 24 months. There are a plethora of side effects of which weakness and fatigue were common for me. I have been off both for 7 months an still am dealing with its side effects. The old news is I am undetectable so far. Hang in there. Read the flyer that comes with the pills. There are many side effects.

Did you take Xgeva for bone loss while on the meds? I'm trying to do leg strengthening exercises to combat weakness and light weights to maintain whatever muscle remains. Congratulations on your results and thanks for the encouragement. Did you have bone mets ? and was triple treatment ever suggested for you? (i.e. the addition of an anti-cancer med)
No, I did not take anything else in conjunction with the Erleada and Eligard. About half way through the treatment interval I did have another round of radiation for some lymph nodes that were missed 10 years ago. Gotta love them PET scans. No bone mets so far.
I should have mentioned the biggest issue from this round of therapy, seems my joints have become painful and I have less range of motion. Also put on about 50 lbs which is proving exceedingly difficult to loose.
