The mom sat on boardwalk to beach near me. Had to chat her up, and say that my baby girl had a baby girl 💖
man , that has to look like paradise from the semi desert out there where you live buddy.
Those oysters look delish …. Not sure about that beverage yayayayayaya.
Great fun QOL time in a literal coastal paradise…. Doesn’t get much better than that.
Good for you getting out there.
I’m driving the newly opened ( for the season ) fruit trail. Local farms in heavy spring harvest , the roadside stands wild west action. Might save it for Friday so I can buy a fruit pie for my carb eating day Saturday.
Supposed to be a massive 22,000 at little Millerton State Park today for the holiday …might drive out there to see the extreme water flood release / flooding and giant crowd mayhem in the park.
QOL on bruddha … ya still the QOL champ.
❤️❤️❤️

Paradise despite being overcast 🌴💙
Livin like I'm dying 😂
Yea, saw a ton of fruit stands on the 126 omw down
Did my 6.6 miles for bday and opened a Bday beer🍺💙
I'm QoLing on my Wayward Son
went out to several local parks and was shocked to see how empty they were … can’t explain it . Especially Millerton where the rangers said they were expecting 22,000 today. Millerton, tho moderately busy in a couple spots , looked to be only 15% - 20% full …dunno why, the water is only about 49f but that doesn’t usually stop them. See pictures below
you can see from this view that there are very few boats … normally it would be crowded with boat mayhem…. Jet skis and ski boats paving the water. Kinda empty looking.
Oh yikes, that's no bueno, I wonder where they coulda gone? Hmmm Was a lil overcast but sun came out today and they were quite a few Families out there. Even a Baptism it looked like

I’ve never seen this during a holiday weekend before … not ever in 40 years. Pretty bizarre.
❤️❤️❤️
I saw a report on late news about the large ocean baptismal that took place down there. It must have been what you saw. I looked for you in the crowd but didn’t see you. Bet it was chilly …burrrrrrrrr.
😁😁😁
Any knowledge how something a little closer to home compares to Ventura...eg Santa Cruz?
Looks like we must have passed thru Ventura on 101 trip up to oregon home...looks fantastic, but no permanent imprint !!
well, a stay at the very affordable Tides Resort in Sand City … waves at your door and whales feeding in front of you, as you eat room service breakfast and watch them. Beautiful heated pool and spa deck, 2star restaurant with “ wonderful Cioppino “. Then drive over to the world class Monterey bay aquarium, … 17Mile Drive and Big Sur. Some might argue that Sir is one of the most exotic and fantastic coastal experiences one could experience. Julia Pfeiffer state park, and Julia Pfeiffer Beach too. Wonderful
whales feeding outside your room ….
I wonder how Oregon's coast/beaches compare......definitely chillier for sure 😞😞😞😧
Ima pretty sure Oregon’s pristine beaches are beautiful as well. Like you said a little cooler / windy by 10f or so but WAY less crowded generally and very nice driftwood, shells …tide pools. S.F. and north is chilly mornings and can be dense foggy part of the day too. It’s thought of as being around Moro Bay and south …. Santa Barbara, Malibu down to Ventura all similar. Cool days chilly nights, mid 70s. Probably L.A. , San Diego , Coronado area the most perfect California beaches for swimming. West Coast summer beach water temps are considerably cooler than East Coast in the same period of time. It’s all good brother , probably anywhere outdoors by the ocean is a good QOL place to hang out yayahahahaya.
Happy Birthday to the King of “QoLing” Wishing you an amazing day, doc! ✨🎉🎈
Happy Bday and cheers! You living the good life. Beautiful baby girl too.
Happy birthday Doc! Sounds like you did it up right.

yayahahahaya yayahahahaya ….. nolo problemo …. and if you had, more power to ya … seems like a “ thing “ for some of us croakers to get into. a little insurance is always a good thing yayahahahaya yayahahahaya.
ADT brain fluff is everywhere in these parts , most all of us croakers have a hefty load , more than likely….. I sure do. Wouldn’t be any fun without a little white matter scramble yayahahahaya. I think it’s likely got a therapeutic aspect to it. Just say’in

I’m with you there buddy … I’ve got a couple of friends that say they’ve hiked the connections ….. John Muir trail, to pacific crest trail connecting thru Tehachapi Trail . I haven’t looked it up to see what they were discussing but they said they loved the thicker air and more desert like aspects farther south out of the high Sierras.
Many years ago when I was a newbie here in Central California, I “ drove “ ( in my super tricked Jeep 4X4 of the era ) a chunk of the John Muir trail by accident . The signs were down or missing at the time ( and frankly I was following other Jeep tracks too ) . Eventually several tree huggers came running agasp and got all over me ( much younger me the wife and my two daughters in the Jeep ) , yayayayayayayay. It looked just like everywhere else up there except for the well worn path that actually made driving on it easier. It was the National forest Jeep off-road area east of strawberry tungsten mine. Dunno if it still exists , pristine, like it was back in the early 80s with all the forest fires that have decimated that region , but for sure ….. like with Tehachapi mountains , it was one immensely beautiful place to visit. You can never get enough of that kind of wilderness beauty. 😁😁😁
Wow that's great news! ❤️❤️❤️
