Did my 150th marathon on Sunday

Vanessa came out with her daughter(in the middle) in a jogging stroller at mile 20. Fam met me at mile 23 (with that sign- wife on one side and #3 son on the other in pic ) . Sis/bro in laws, nephew, dental office staff and a couple of pts were there too. A great day - also it was my 32nd marathon post Stage IV PCa Dx. Had a Fiesta at a restaurant with beers❤️, of course. The OC Register photographer did a text interview of me 😆google.com/amp/s/www.ocregi...

She had also taken the pix for the 2015 article about that same marathon and my doing it three days after my 5th Taxotere session: ocregister.com/2015/04/30/c...

Mahalo and Fight on y'all ✌️

I just found your article on OCRegister and passed along to my 83yr old Dad who’s been fighting this beast for 14 years!!!! Thank you for sharing!!!

Oh, you're welcome, I'm using the marathons to spread awareness, but to also honor men taken by PCa, please check previous posts with pix of the back bib. My best to y'all - Randy

You truly are an inspiration to all who are fighting this beast. I know this would have impressed my hubby and so wished I could have shared this with him.

Thank you for honouring those who have lost their fight by carrying their names on your back and also keeping awareness of PCa in focus through every marathon you do.

I am blessed to have met you through this site and so glad to have you (and family) as a friend. Keep running and fighting!

Way to go!!! 🏃🏻‍♂️🏅❤️

Sheri (cheerleader for you all now)

Yes and Mahalo!, I've told others that the web can be such a sewer, but it can also unite people across the world. I have gents on FB from Nigeria and South Africa who are dealing with d*mn PCa and have messaged me to ask about my treatments and how I'm doing. I also have this very nice lady in BC who is my biggest Fan up there because of this forum :-) Hugs to you and the family and we gotta try and meet up someday.

Thanks! and have a great time in Israel - my week getaway to STL was awesome. Oh, awesome about you doing the zero event! I have the Long Beach on June 22nd and Bakersfield on Nov 9th. Also signed up to do the NYC marathon for the 4th year in a row for team zero. Maybe we can meet up - I think that you live in NY?

My best to you, Mahalo and Fight On!

Haha - if you look closer - she threw confetti up in the air. Her Mom took the pic, they met me at mile 20, kept me distracted and went to lunch with us afterwards.

Congratulations. I checked out all the pics and even dug a little into marathon history. I have a hard time walking through Walmart and back to my car and you keep on trucking for 26.2 miles. Amazing. Sometimes I wonder if my car will make it 26 miles. Just totally amazing sir.

Thank you Monte ❤️ tho the marathons are at least 2 hours longer then prior to the Dx. It sounds weird, but it's the thing that I enjoy, tho arduous, and I also use it to maybe get a man screened and honor those taken. A blog post from a few years ago: blog.athlinks.com/2017/05/1...

My best to you and my Brothers here
