I’ve read a few times that PSA can become elevated for several months post Covid. Is this for real or just wishful thinking? Has anyone actually experienced this?

PSA and Covid
I got covid while doing chemo and my PSA did not change. I guess I am the control
I had COVID in January 2021. My PSA had remained nearly undetectable for nine years prior to that. By April of 2021 my PSA hit 3.9 and I started Orgovyx for the next 55 weeks. So, yes I had a PSA spike coincident with COVID. I don’t know, however, if there was a cause and effect relationship. Seems like an interesting study topic.
I did not; my PSA has been unmeasurable for 3+ years. But who knows? Everyone is different.
There was an interesting aspect of COVID and its effect on the testicles that came up in this study...check out the MIN references...it lowered TET (testosterone) by 31% during the infection, so it would or could increase PSA afterwards as TET levels recovered...also check out the impact on mortality rates for men with TET below 100 ng/dl !!! To boot the virus is present in the testis even after the infection is gone...great. Rick
