There are many pain meds that will help you as you approach the end.

While one dithers and hem-haws, PCa grows exponentially 24x7. Get the best SoC (care) available at this moment in time and know that lots of better treatments are in the pipe.

Fun fact. You have to get care in order to qualify for advanced treatments. You have to slow down your PCa to give doctors a chance to treat you more if needed.

I am going through this and told myself more than once, "Suck it up buttercup." You do what you have to do and pray to God for wisdom and patience. Not everybody gets bad side effects, and most side effects are manageable.

You also need a strong will to live. To be there for your family.

I’ve heard some bad things about dying of untreated prostate cancer . . . Very common story in many poorer countries where it is not even diagnosed until it is end stage. So we know how it goes, unfortunately.

If you're not going to be treated you'll need some very good pain meds and some psychotic drugs also. You will suffer for months. You won't just be your same old self and then suddenly die from the prostate cancer.

I experienced the death spiral unaware what was happening until I saw a Dr. My mind was greatly affected as well. I was not even close to being the person I had been. Very miserable existence.

Not what you're looking for?
