Urology appt in a few weeks re AS protocol;PSA/DRE every 4 months for 1st year with MRI scan and repeat tp biopsy after a year, after that depends on results.
Is this a standard routine?

AS is never given for advanced prostate cancer. Are you posting in the right place? Try:
