Drove to Haleiwa lil surf town and did a walking tour, pretty crowded out there. Highlights were locals jumping off the bridge into the river and the puppy on a surfboard ☺️
Drove out to Waianae, but area looked sketchy, so went back to Ala Moana to get more sun😜
Welcome back to the mainland brother. I enjoyed the pics and the stories, and occasionally I could even get a whiff of Gardenias and Plumerias. Thanks.
wow, that was a whirlwind trip …. You did more , there, in those few days than I’ve probably done in the last 5 years combined. Yayahahahaya
Spending time with popo was especially nice , her being in such good condition, being able to recognize you. Time with so much of your family.
Oh well , back to the daily grind yayahahahaya. At least it’s California with all that brings. Where you live, you can go from desert Joshua trees to high Sierra giant redwoods to Monterey pines and coastal juniper’s all in one day yayahahahaya yayahahahaya.
Yea, time flies... I packed in quite a bit🤣 I've never been a stay in a hotel kinda guy even before PCaMy feeling is that if I spent $ to visit a place, I wanna do/see/eat as much as I can whilst there💙😊
you definitely got your monies worth this time yayahahahaya. I’d like going to those places as well …But that “ lure “ of soaking in that warm ocean would attract me strongly. I’ve swam in the Gulf of Mexico at Padre Island in August - September and the water so warm that you had to get out to cool off now and then. Without a wet suit , our ocean water up here is too cold.
Since Fresno is right up against the foothills , on most roads in town, looking east you can see “ the big boys “ including Mount Whitney . It’s white down low to foothills here right now too. Weather map showing an inbound “ huge “ rain front about 30 minutes out that will hammer us until about midnight. On days when the air is real clear, you can look west and see the smaller coastal mountains. This morning you could see both ranges.
We still need more rain. I was out in the truck this morning ( first time out of the house in over 30 days and it was great ) and the massive rains , lately, have filled all the ponding basins pretty well. The wintering ducks and geese having a playful party , all a flutter. Been a long time since those basins had much water in them.
yayahahahaya yayahahahaya no kidding … I wanna get a few grams of his pituitary gland juice. Yayahahahaya yayahahahaya. Or find out where his crystal meth dealer is today.
Lol, not a MethHead and I wish I could bottle up this weird energy and parcel out to guys who need a lil boost.
Just kinda OCD about completing next Conqueror Challenge, and keeping my streak of consecutive days hiking, and that Study about Myokine release with exercise, plus I'm Type A Azn overdoer🤣
yayahahahaya yayahahahaya. Send me a gallon. Yayahahahaya. Definitely not a speed freak … you are the perfect example of excellent physical conditioning thru your runs and walks / hikes. Your most excellent physical shape clearly evident … what we all could seek to achieve. “ I wanna be like you “ 🎼
I did get out of the house today , finally, first time in over a month. My poor Silverado decaying from disuse in the driveway. Had a couple glitches getting going but got there anyway …. Nice to see the outdoors again buddy.
It’s 4:22 p.m. and the next “ big wave “ hitting us now … big yellow on the weather map gonna hit shortly. Prolly sit in jacuzzi and enjoy it over a mug of mocha coffee . Later brother
AWW my Bruddah wonderful words!A while ago a pt asked how I was doing, told her that they're adding chemos. She exclaimed "no", but I said Yes who better to take more chemos than I😛
Awesome my Brother, may I ask what else is on there?
I gotta start thinking of my bucket list, right off the top would be a Trip to Normandy for The Band of Brothers tour, going to like Greece, Italy, France, & Germany. Maybe even visit my people in Southern China :-). Take an RV tour of the US!
I also began a RV trips to the lower 48, threw in some Canadian provinces as well. Went east to west. First year 16 days New England, Quebec, NB, PEI, Nova Scotia.
Second year 8 weeks the great lake states, rode my bike across Iowa, other Midwestern states.
Third year mountain states, 8 weeks.
Fourth year 9 weeks south, southwest, west coast, Idaho, Montana, ND. ND was my 48th state.
Hawaii completed last Feb. Alaska is left will go by ship, not RV to AK. Don't know when.
Oh Brother, that sounds wonderful and you took your time to travel and really enjoy the places you visited. That'll be on my bucket list 1st, but I gotta retire 1st, but work still gives me joy, so that ain't happening for a while
Thanks for sharing. I remember good times in Hawaii and your posts and pictures make me smile. Thanks for the positive vibes. Love, laugh and dance till the last song . I would dance Evan after the music stops playing!
