Up at 4am for 7am flight

Packed plane, occasional turbulence. Met a nice young Chinese girl, Joy, she's traveling and hiking. She may hike Diamond head with me. I dig her cuz she said that I looked 53 yes old😂😍

Napped some after a Double Bloody Mary😜

Visited Dad and G'pa at Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery

Consumed a lot, saw my Mom at her new nursing home and brought her dinner.

Managed a couple miles to keep my Streak going. Walked the Honolulu City Lights display 🎄

I hiked the Pali Road, with a gorgeous verdant canopy, then to the Pali Lookout. It's up a couple miles from the house I grew up in.

Yea, its a climb, esp the steep stairway and then spiral staircase.Then you gotta crawl the the opening in the bunker, but so worth it

we buy the smallest … it’s a half or quarter ham or something like that …still it seems like we have a lot left over. The hammer always makes a traditional bean soup for New Years , we use the bone in that.

Yes, very hard to see her struggle physically and mentally 😩She fed us as babies, the least I can do is return the favor and bring food that I know that she'll love
