White count lower 3 1/2 weeks after final chemo than 1 week after - WTF?

Had my 6th & final chemo (docetaxel) on Oct 24; one week later my WBC was 3.1. Previous 1 week post chemo white counts were in the 5 - 6 range. Been self injecting with Ziextenzo (bioequivalant to Neulasta) a day after each round. Not sure why didn't come back up at one week like previous rounds. What is really concerning is bloodwork today (3 weeks, 3 days post chemo) & the WBC was 2.8!

Could it just be the cumulative effects of the chemo? Chemo has been effective; PSA is now 0.79 from original 28.2. Other thoughts?

Chemo does have a cumulative effect. Hopefully it will bounce back after a while.

Absolute neutrophils are the most important. Our oncologist is concerned if they drop below 400.

I'm the original poster. Had bloodwork today & WBCs went down further to 1.7! Four days ago was 2.8. Neutrophils are at 0.8, was 1.6 just 4 days ago. I did have Prevnar 20 vaccine 10 days ago. Restarted abiraterone at 500mg 2 days ago; would think too soon to affect WBCs. Can chemo cause permanent damage to marrow? I guess, though RBCs are stable. Thoughts???
