My father has metastatic prostate cancer with gleason score 9. He was diagnosed 2years back. He has already received docetaxel abiraterone and cabazitaxel. But his disease keeps relapsing.
Doctors asked for the test NGS with Brca. His test results results are negative.
is this test mandatory mandatory for lu-177 ??
My father is suffering from severe pain. I really pray he gets the new treatment.

The major requirements for Pluvicto in the US are tried chemo, tried a 2nd gen hormonal (like abiraterone), high PSMA avidity on a PSMA PET scan, and adequate organ function and blood work. So he sounds like a good candidate. I also think an FDG PET scan is prudent in heavily treated men like him.
Hi TA — does this mean that one need not have mets visible on conventional imaging? or is it that mets must be visible on MRI, CT or bone scan but must also be PSMA-positive? Many thanks —
