We are fostering a 4 year old Labrador retriever and her 7 puppies. We took them in when they were 4 days old, they are now 6 weeks old. It has been a challenge as she is not house broken. She was rescued from a puppy mill because she was not getting pregnant and they were going to shoot her. She ended up at the PAWS shelter and low and behold was pregnant!
It has been a very rewarding experience and a good distraction from thinking about PCa.

My wife and I have fostered human kids, but not dogs.... Once was a mom and 5 kids... couldn't lock them in the kitchen.... Have fun with your extended family.
i am with you! I love dogs so much I could never foster them. My wife and I almost drove to Dallas a couple of times in the last month 27hour drive from Boston to save two or three from the huge kill shelters there. I cry every time I see them in cages or even out running around knowing they are tagged code red. I had to stop watching them.
what could be more fun than a room full of puppy’s …. Wow … yayahahahaya yayahahahaya. Gonna keep you busy running after all those guys. Great stuff ….
😁😁😁
Buying those large, thick mil clear plastic disposable painters tarps and a heavy hand stapler can line any room ( utility room, bathroom ? ) and make them puppy pee / poop proof. Staple them up at least 12” on the walls too.
I really think our two pups who get 10-20 minute walks 4x/day is part of my therapy. We live in a +55 condo with no yard so daily walls are not a choice (yes, in rain & snow). Enjoy the pups and good luck with the house breaking!
Thats adorable and terrifying in one shot. Love the puppies!! We have had more than1 dog foro our complete married life but 7 puppies at one time is madness
Good on you both. Our last 3 dogs have been rescues. My current dog person, Spencer, makes me walk him several times a day which is good for both of us.
So wonderful that you are doing this. We have rescued all of our dogs and they brought so much joy. When each one died, we found a hole in our hearts,,,,,,,,,,,,,so it makes me happy to see these pictures and know the love you are giving them.
I love animals as they bring so much joy to our lives.
When i was little, I had a pet mouse, rabbit, horse and 3 dogs. Each one gave me more than I could ever imagine.
