well back in late May had PSA of 7.5. MO said sit on it until next check in mid June. At this time I made an appt at Ohio State to see a specialist, Dr. Monk. Ik new they probably couldn't get an appt in until mid July s( o matter what my next PSA was I thought I could touch base. Well the pain started to really becoming pronounced in lower left back. (Oh yea, I had been on Zytiga back in August last year. I was also put on monthly injection of XGEVA then.) When I got my June injection of Xgeva, got PSA as well, and it upped to 15.5. Also pain was getting much worse. We stopped Zytiga, and started on Xtandi. Also ordered PSMA PET scan. My Monk appt was July 25, scan July 23. Took another PSA and it went to 21. WIn meanwhile, my lower pain was almost intolerable, orcing several days of complete inactivity. I prescribed Vicodin but that didn't work great. My PSMA ended up positive. I stopped Xtandi then . I will start pluvicto end of August. Also receiving radiation to hopefully help with backpain, which was shown to be caused by this. Got on higher dose of oxycodone as well. Lots of family issues are stirring up as well. I just retired as of June and so far not what I expected! The waiting as you all know is part of the game. I am usually a very active person:walking, running, hiking, and just plain helping around house. So that has been frustrating. I'm just plodding and powering myself if (you want to call it rhat)! All good.

Discuss doing chemotherapy, instead of trying other second generation anti androgen.

I'll see how the pluvicto goes. I don't think they do these together
