I have a PC colleague who recently had a PET scan that found cancer cells in the L5 to L3 vertebrae. Apparently, his insurance won’t cover the next chemo drug providing incentive to join the trial.

The bromodomain inhibitors are a hot topic right now. They are trying to cripple the PCa cells so they can't replicate. Here's the initial report of the dose-finding trial:
Platelet loss, fatigue and nausea are the serious TEAEs. About a dozen different clinical trials are in the works, so many think it will be effective. If effective, it is only effective in combination, as with enzalutamide or PARP inhibitors.
