Hi everyone, has anyone heard or read anything about FT-7075 from Forma Therapeutics? They have a new trial commencing for late-line patients and those with "AR-v7 splice variants". Here's the company's web page for the therapy... formatherapeutics.com/progr... and the US government info at clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show... .
It's nice to see some possible-future hope as we try our best to kick the can down the road.

It's one of many BET inhibitors now in clinical trials. It targets a part of the the proteins (the "bromodomain") needed for cancer cell proliferation. The hope is that they will help androgen receptor therapies work better and longer, and it may increase the immunogenicity of prostate cancer. I hope it works for you!
Does it work on AR positive and AR negative patients? I’m negative and I am eligible for the trial but I don’t want to waste my time what are your thoughts my friend The doctor seems to think it won’t make a difference!
It only works on those who express the AR. How did you determine that you are AR negative? You would only know that from an IHC analysis of a metastasis. You would not express PSA or PSMA if you are AR negative. Do you mean you are castration resistant?
I was told by by the urologist that I am AR negative. I definitely express PSMA since I was PSMA avid thereby allowing me to participate in the Lutetium trial. I am castrate resistant for sure. Thanks for trying to help me through this. The oncologist at the University of Maryland thinks it will help me his name is Dr. Arif Hussain.
Unless they did an IHC, you are not AR negative. That is a rare condition. Please get confirmation of that from your oncologist. It makes a big difference in whether a BET inhibitor can help you.
I’ve been fighting this for 13 years and I’ve exhausted all traditional therapies. I am understanding that manny become AR positive over time. I was on Zytiga and that lasted for about a year and a half. Followed up with Xtandi and that lasted for about three months. So I just don’t know what’s going to happen. Had taxotere , 12 doses. That tore me up but it did lower my PSA consistently after each dose. What are your thoughts sir!
