So Keytruda has been working to keep my PSA relatively stable for 27 weeks with minimal side effects through round 8, however PSA did rise from 19.1 to 26.7 so I may be failing Keytruda. After receiving my 9th Keytruda infusion I started having extreme pain in my knees, ankles, and shoulders, to the point I couldn’t sleep. It honestly caught me off guard as I had been doing great.
I have started a prednisone flight and pain is very manageable now. Has any one else experienced this with Keytruda?
Lastly I’ve decided to have a pain pump inserted to deal with my back pain. My need to increase fentanyl level every few months was not a road I wanted to go down. Any input on using a pain pump?
We’ll see where Keytruda takes me next or if I failed that as well. Hopefully new genetic test will give us some clues.
