Prostap v Lupron

I have just had my first 3 monthly Prostap injection following 2 x 1 monthly injections. I believe Prostap is similar to Zolodex. I notice that many of you mention Lupron. Can anyone explain the differences and am I on the best option for ADT?

One further question is that I am yet to have my hormone levels checked. When is this appropriate?

Thank you.

Peostap is leuprorelin acetate, aka Lupron.
