I'm still on eligard and zytiga but recently cut prednisone from 10mg daily to 5. Just the change in prednisone hit me with more fatigue and increase in wrist soreness. I figured it was due to drop from 10 to 5 too quickly
Tapered off Z&P in January and the only se is that I lost 7 lbs. Testosterone and metabolism have increased and according to my MO (and Tall Allen, my MO agreed with you, thanks), is the reason for weight loss.
No fatigue, however, at 72, I work as a medical courier (2nd career)and walk briskly about 4 miles daily (according to my smart watch).
My resting heartbeat ranges from 75 (awakening) to about 88.
Again, at 72 , I have some aches and pains (started playing golf at 14 and my hands are shot!)
Also, its been a year since my last Lupron shot.
I've been using DMSO for 10 days and my hands feel much better.
Thanks...fatigue nearly disappeared after stopping zytiga...I weaned off the prednisone for another 3 weeks...but I've read it can actually take months for things to return to normal. Noticed a uptick in RHR and joint stiffness.
