Hi everyone ,

Doctor just called after looking at scans , still not conclusive so now we are having a biopsy and bone scan ! which from what I've read on here is the protocol. There are no nodules or anything he said but there are some shadows around his pelvis ?? which does worry me . anyone else had this ?

He said it doesn't look like surgery is an option at the moment and the probable course of action is radiotherapy and hormone but won't know for definite until the biopsy comes back .

Also asked him about casodex and he said that its a small dose that john has to take for a month so that he can have the hormone injection and won't have to wait a month for that to get into his system .

so i feel like we have some answers even though they are not the answers we hoped for .

Go for bone scan ..if negative go for Choline pet scan or equivalent PSMANo ADT before scans....

Why not MRI also

After Oligo spots....

I went for Fimagon and a few months later RT...

Little risque with RT...just prepare well before each session...

Plant Diet exercise a must...

Take your time, consult, and have all options....

PC is very heterogeneous....

Same initial symptoms..then different paths...

Keep cool....go out take walks in nature...

Have the bone scan first! It may help avoid an unnecessary biopsy.
