Been awhile since I have posted but I just received my blood work results which I get before each Lupron shot. My testosterone is always <5 and this time is no different. My psa however for the first time in 2.5 years went from .02 to .17. I go in on the 17th for my shot but I am a little worried, should I be?

PSA Increase
It may be time to start bringing out some bigger guns. Your PSA is probably still too low for anything new to show up on a bone scan/CT, but abiraterone might be a good next step if the rising continues.
I am 3 month injections so every 3 months. I also take Casodex daily.
Well I met with the doctor and he is starting me on Xtandi. Getting bone and CT scans just to check on things.

Why in the h@# does Xtandi cost so much?
Because they can???? No generic option to create competition.
Check on the companies website. You might qualify for a low cost subsidy.
maybe try 150mg of casodex first
I've been on Casodex. I'll be continuing with Lupron and Xtandi versus Lupron and Casodex.
