Since then I've been gradually gaining weight (about two Kg).
Some part of of the weight I guess can be attributed to the muscles i'm regaining - been working out two to three times a week, and indeed I feel stronger.

OK science. I had CT merged with PSMA scans for PLN RT last year. I weighed 188. The visceral fat was clearly visible and measured on the scans around the viscera. After the RT was over last December I started Keto diet with IMF. By may my weight was down to 150. Repeat PSMA scan for follow up showed the visceral fat along with the subcutaneous fat was largely gone. Conclusion: it can work. Other’s mileage may vary.
