They're castrated at age 5 and somehow grow up to be the most feared fighters in the world. We all know better. They'd more likely be overweight, teary eyed, couch potatos that couldn't beat up a barmaid, much less giant warriors attacking on horseback ;-)

"with many different stories told about his origins and how he became a eunuch. "--uhh, how many stories can there be, really?

1) The mohel (circumciser) slipped

2) Was shaving his balls and had an accident

3) He cheated on his girlfriend, and she drugged him and attacked

4) He had a lovely voice as a child, and they wanted to keep it that way

5) A jealous husband attacked him

6) He was trying to have a vasectomy

7) He was swimming naked in the Amazon, and a piranha attacked

8) He sat on a large thorn

hey Hey HEY ..... just a minute bucko ... maybe I’ve got the “ Idaho’s Best “ stamp on my gluteus Maximus, and yes my 5’ ...100 pound wife can whip my a$$ ...... BUT ... I strap on my oculus quest VR headset and I’m one of the most feared warrior killing machines on any planet. So there !!! It’s all a matter of perspective.

Just say’in 😂😂😂👍😂

If you haven’t been to oculus quest VR land, you’ve missed one of the most jaw dropping , exciting, premier experiences in life.

I'm already loopy from the ADT. I imagine that using a VR system would totally screw with me!

NO ........ you can just sit in a chair for everything I do ...

most games have the “ play seated “choice. My wifey gets in “ there “ for hours. ... it’s hard to get the headgear off her once she gets “ immersed “ .... it can be addicting ... extremely absorbing for sure. The realistic environments make you think you are literally there ... after a brief period, the headgear disappears from your consciousness and you are totally immersed... you’re “ in there “ ...

the newest model 2 costs less than half what I paid for my model one oculus quest and is more advanced. I prefer my original model for several reasons , tho. I play sitting in a office chair type seat that rotates 360 as the realities are literally 360 in every direction ...even up and down. Some of the space suit travel stuff can disorient you at first and in some places in some realities, you get to places where looking over the edge can scare you if you are afraid of heights.... you get used to it and just have to try to remember it’s not real ... hard sometimes. Yayahahahaya find store that sells them and try one out ...

VR in a different galaxy tho buddy yayahahahaya way different ... if you got one , you’d never see it again. your son would take it ... that ps4 would die of loneliness yayahahahaya

Just say’in 😂😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️

Oh yea baby ... that should rock your world. I doubt there is that much difference between that and a oculus quest . I looked at a couple videos of it in operation ... looks like great VR fun. VR changes everything. Give that puppy some test drives and you’ll be hooked yayahahahaya.

Kewl maaaaan ..... 💪💪💪👍👍👍

I once was lying down, looking up at all the stars from the top of a hill on a warm summer night, and suddenly felt the profound feeling that I was suspended in outer space, and wearing the entire Earth behind me like a backpack.

(No drugs involved. I was just an imaginative teenager. Ha. Ha.)

( insert long draw on a joint sound effect here ) ...... yea maaaaaaan ...I can dig it .... I’ve been there too .... I think there were some shrooms involved in my case tho ...yayahahahaya think I found them growing out of a cow patty right there on the hill .... I could use a pound of them right now.

Groovy ,,,😂😂😂😂😂

Yayahahahaya .... yea but those only last 20 minutes ..... uh .... that’s what people have told me anyway, ..uh ... I’ve never grown them in mason jars or dried them in my oven or anything like that. I don’t even know what slants or mycelium is ... nope , I’ve never seen a spore print or rye grain medium ...none of that stuff. Think I just saw that shrooms were legalized in Oregon and decriminalized in several cities in California.... Santa Cruz and Oakland for example. We can already walk into corner stores and buy cannabis products right off the rack here, probably gonna be shrooms next. My how things have changed since the hippie days of the 60s Wow ...

Seriously tho .... I think the long term positive mental effect that psilocybin has on people that eat them would be extremely important to APCa guys. They can magically erase depression , even if they aren’t making you stoned anymore .... I think there is a world of helpful benefit there to be had for terminally ill people. My 2 cents worth.

Just say’in 😂😂😂😂😂😂🍄🍄🍄🍄

Yayahahahaya yayahahahaya ... right on brother, good one ... have right on at it ... some humor here lifts the doom and gloom ... even if they don’t admit it sometimes, well can all use a some humor.

I saw the same look on a horses face one night on the area51 highway .. east of TTR. Traveling down the highway about 80 mph, middle of the night ... open ranges desert. A wild horse tried to cross the road in front of us .... I still to this day do not know how we managed to miss hitting that huge wild horse ....but ... the look of total terror on his face and both mine and my wife’s faces ... that moment when our eyes locked in total horror ..... wow ! Yayahahahaya I’ll bet that horse in that picture is in the same boat.

Just say’in 😂😂😂😂

While bulls are physically stronger than oxen and stallions are stronger than geldings, the personality and behavioral differences make the castrated member of the pair more valuable for many tasks. The same was true for eunuchs in history.

From at least the time of the Assyrian army, there were military leaders who were eunuchs. The Chinese military had eunuch admirals and generals well into the 19th century. The many battles between the rising Islamic caliphate and the Byzantine Empire often had eunuch commanders on both sides. At least by the time of the Assyrian Empire, there were eunuch chariot drivers and ranks of eunuch archers in battle.

A Moroccan army under the command of a Spanish eunuch in 1591 defeated the army of the Songhai Empire in West Africa. The Songhai military largely consisted of a cavalry of 3000 eunuchs. The Moroccan advantage was western cannon against horsemen with spears.

Saladin’s army that fought against the Christian Crusaders in the 12th century included large numbers of eunuchs. The influence of eunuchs was present in another area of the kingdom under Saladin. In an illuminating piece of information in Muslim and Latin sources alike, we see that Saladin’s army depended heavily on eunuchs for many years. William of Tyre (d. 1186) mentioned in 1177 that Saladin’s army contained 18,000 soldiers, and that ‘8,000 belonged to those splendid soldiers called in their own language “toassin-tawashi”. Al-Maqrizi, in his account of 1181, wrote that Saladin’s army ‘consisted of nearly 11,000 soldiers, 111 emirs and 6,976 tawashi-eunuchs. We can see that in both reports almost half the army was composed of eunuchs, which reflects how the Ayyubid state needed and depended on their great skills.

The part that I “ can “ believe is that them being castrated at five with no hope of love just might make em crazy with nothing to lose mothers ? Completely crazed . I can belief that after three years of being a unich myself . I still have that male rage inside .. although I m a weak male specimen now , I can still use weapons to protect the castle if need be . I’m with you in thinking that an army of unich s would be hard to defeat at all . You could probably knock them down like bowling pins.. 😷😳
