My partner (66) was diagnosed 11/19 advanced APC STAGE 4 /GL9 to bones .. this was after months of urine retention & bleeding ,colonoscopy revealed malignancy & catscan revealed tumor in prostate attaching rectal wall .. he’s been on Erleada & Firmagon & was going ok but now that psa starting to rise again( 3x), we are considering lo dose Jevtana ..
What is your opinion on going right to the Jevtana instead of going onto another ADT drug like ZYTIGA OR Xofiogo(?)

In my opinion, much better to alternate chemo and hormonals. The hormonals may last longer when you don't do them consecutively. Also, consider Xofigo+Provenge.
Your exact question was tested recently in the CARD trial where Jevtana was compared to switching from one anti-androgen to another, in this case the two were Xtandi and Zytiga. The patients that went to Jevtana did much better than the ones that changed anti-androgens. For the details, you can read this:
