No convincing research, although it might interfere with PSA tests:

It has to do with the great red wind debate. More pros and cons than gallons of water in the Atlantic ocean. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

I read that has having a lot more pros than cons. It seems that much of the adverse events come from very high doses of it. Of course there could be other issues, but I'm going to stick with taking it for the long term. If you find anything else regarding new studies, please let me know. :)

I've been taken Elysium Basis now for the last 3 months and I feel that it has made me feel better. My blood work has gotten better and blood pressure has improved. Could it have been a million other things? Of course. Have any studies shown that it increases lifespan or cancer treatment effectiveness in humans? No. It did show some benefits in CKD and inflammation markers. It also showed some promise in heart failure.

The only benefit in lifespan shown thus far has been in rat models. Do I think it's worth a shot to take for a few months if you could spare the extra 50? I do. Just make sure to ask the pharmacist if it will interfere with any treatments.

There is controversy that it also can promote cancer cell growth. scientificamerican.com/arti...

Yea that is the bad part, that I am essentially a guinea pig right now. So it would definitely be wise to talk to your doctor about it. Great article though. Gives me a new angle to think about. :)

🤗 it's definitely interesting. i'd love to have softer skin (among other things). I was just reading that there is some controversy they source their ingredients from China so you may look into that as well.

I get resvetarol from eating a handful of dried, dark red grapes (raisins/Munakka) daily.

With such antioxidant, anti inflammatory foods, my C Reactive protein remains between

0.2 to 0.3. Which means very very low bodily inflammation.

There was a study from U. of TX about 3 years ago showing that the 3 most active phytochemicals that they screened for activity against prostate cancer were resveratrol, curcumin, and ursolic acid. of course it was a mouse study, so grain of salt should be added to the list.

There are dozens of studies which show anti cancer effects of cruciferous vegetables, (sulforaphanes) turmeric( curcumin), Ginger,(gingerols) resveratrol, and ursolic acid plus many others.

Chronic inflammation in body/prostate initiates and propagates growth of prostate cancer cells. These substances do not cure prostate cancer but have capacity to slow the growth and make standard medical treatments more effective.

Resveratrol was one of the supplements that Dr. Myers recommended to his patients.

Most supplements are not very bioavailable. Myers recommended micronized resveratrol.

RevGenetics has a good product.

Thanks all you guys replies. It looks like there is more pros than cons by adding Resveratrol in the regiment but I will consult my ONC before eating.
