I am looking for suggestions for getting another opinion from the most advanced minds/centers for handling castration resistant metastatic prostate cancer. Something along the lines of MD Anderson? Thanks

Pick a top oncologist at almost any top center. In my experience, they all know one another , communicate with each other, and know what the others are working on. Which center is close to you?
If you should go ahead and decide to make a physical visit to MD Anderson in these days of COVID-19, you might consider Dr. Padmanee Sharma. She is very "connected" to the medical professionals in the prostate cancer world, and also "consults" with dozens of the cutting edge pharma companies. She might also suggest a suitable colleague there.

Be aware of potential COVID-19 restrictions/procedures. Some Texas cities may still be on the up-swing of COVID-19 incidence.

They also have considerable resources to help plan any first visit, including travel and lodging "details". Subsequent visits might possibly be done via teleconference (depending on some State(s) legal restrictions).

Wherever you decide to consult or to be treated, Good Luck!
Thanks. I'm making a list of these Docs and centers and will contact them. My MO is having my biopsy from 2 years ago genetic tested but from what I've read today on this site there seems to so much more not being done, eg. testing the mets itself. I think I'll start with Yale and then MD Anderson to see if we can do a telemed visit. Dana Farber also.
Dr Michael Morris at the Sloan Kettering in New York, Dr. Taplin at the Dana Farber in Boston. I have consulted with both of them and they are good although very conventional in their approach. They would not offer too much outside of the box unless they have a clinical trial you could qualify. Very rare if they recommend a clinical trial they are not involved with.
A hidden Gem in Boston..my Genetiurinary Oncologist and Director of Molecular Oncology Research Labs at Tufts Medical center, a product of the world's best from MD Anderson, specialist in PC, clinical and research..if your familiar with my story you will know why I sing his praises..he has me in Complete Durable Clinical Remission currently NED, from Genomic Sequencing and Checkpoint Inhibitors immunotheraphy, many would have given up on me 6 yrs ago and put me in Hospice with 3-6 months..Im here today due to this dedicated individual.
That's fantastic and he sounds like just the type of person I'm looking for...someone on top of new testing. Thanks!
MSKcc in NYC.....
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
