I have been on Zoladex for 2 1/2 years my PSA test last week has gone from 0.01 in January 2020 to now been 0.2 Im guessing by this the Zoladex has probably stopped working, so what would be next I have had radiotherapy & Chemo already.
Does that seem a big jump ? Whats the chance it maybe a one off & comeback down again.
Many thanks stay safe

Most oncologists would wait for a PSA of 2 or new metastases on a bone scan/CT before calling you castration-resistant, but that is up to your doctor and insurance. If they agree that you have CRPC, and you have no detectable metastases on a bone scan/CT, you will be able to get Nubiqa or Erleada.
Thanks guys I emailed my trial nurse earlier today & she has in turn emailed my Onc so I hope to get an appointment with the Onc soon, I am on the trial that you take metformin with the Zoladex, maybe a coincidence but last January I decided to change my Metformin from 2 to one tablets per day as 2 was playing havoc with my stomach & now my PC has started to grow ?.
Just a note....I have had two Axumin PET scans in 13 months and PSA hovers around 3 to 5 and clean scans each time....My oncologist at Duke mentioned in an e-mail to me that she is considering another scan.....Maybe PSMA....oh well ....good luck ....Blue Skies
