Urologist had me on Tamsoluson and Terazosin before do to help with urination. In light of these drugs may cause a more aggressive form of Pca and I’m still on Tamsoluson is there a chance that this drug is now feeding my cancer?
Drugs before dx: Urologist had me on... - Advanced Prostate...

Bob..I don't think that Tamsolusin is feeding the cancer. All this med does is that it relaxes smooth muscle cells of bladder thus improving urine flow.
From where did you get this idea that tamsulosin feeds the cancer ?
You may have it confused with a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor.
No, why do you imagine that?
I guess I have it confused with 5 alpha reductase thanks to Lowt’s response. Thanks for the response though. I’m very new to the forum and learning as fast as I can. To you knowledge has anyone in the forum ever tried fenbendazole.

Hi Bob, my urologist had me on tamsolusin from the outset and it helped me get going again. 7 weeks later when I saw my oncologist, he suggested I could stop taking it as I was peeing freely. I stopped taking it the next day to see how I went and have not had any tamsulosin since. The tamsulosin made be foggy so happy to not need it to pee but keep on hand just in case. Keep strong brother, 😎
