Erleada was recently approved for mHSPC, joining Zytiga. Xtandi will probably get approved soon. Here are the options so far for those who are newly diagnosed - Perhaps your oncologist may be able to get you them even if you have had a treatment.
Provenge works well for soft tissue cancers.

Hi Todd53
I also have lung Mets. We’re a small but growing community and no one has figured out why yet. I was on firmagon followed by lupron for a total of about 18 mos and the Mets appeared to be shrinking so they let my body have a break. It’s been 8 months since my last 3-month infusion and it’s been great to not have hot flashes and even greater to have some testosterone back in my system. That said, my next go ‘round at MD Anderson is in January and I will deal with what must be done, if anything, then.
We all are united with this disease yet so completely different in our treatments. Crazy, eh?
Good luck to you on your journey.
This article has some info on pulmonary metastases in hormone sensitive cancers:
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/313...
"Complete PSA responses to ADT were noted in 52% of men, with a median PSA-PFS of 66 months, a 4-year FFS rate of 72%, and a median OS that was not reached after 190 months."
I always bring this up. Maybe apples and oranges: I'm being treated for a lung melanoma with Keytruda and it's working.
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
